Biography

While in law school Ms. McKnight participated as an Oral Advocate in the International Jessup Moot Court Competition, and interned with the California Attorney General’s Office – Criminal Appeals, Writs, & Trials where she delivered oral argument in the California Court of Appeals; the San Diego Family Justice Center assisting under-privileged clients with the preparation and filing of retraining orders; and the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot – Legal Assistance Office, where she was presented with a Certificate of Commendation for her work.

After law school, Ms. McKnight practiced family law in California before taking a position with UC San Diego Health negotiating clinical trial agreements for numerous divisions of medicine.

At the end of 2019, she moved to Colorado and clerked for the Hon. Edward C. Moss and the Hon. Jeffrey A. Smith while studying for the Colorado bar.

After passing the Colorado bar, Ms. McKnight joined Lambdin & Chaney and has focused her practice on civil litigation defense, including personal injury, civil rights, and construction defect matters. When Ms. McKnight is not focusing on work, she volunteers as an active Search and Rescue member in her county.
